COVID-19 and the Border
Currently, we are operating “business as usual” (with reduced operating hours). We have stepped up our cleaning and disinfection procedures and will update here if anything changes. Please read the following status update here:

Ship Happens is currently operating on limited hours and extremely limited staff. We will be processing incoming freight in the morning and then processing your arranged package pickups in the afternoon.
We apologize for not being able to answer all of your phone calls.
We are doing our best to keep operating and providing options for you to retrieve your packages.
We have extended our holding time until the border reopens.
We are encouraging our customers to arrange for UPS or FEDEX to pick them up and redirect them to you in Canada if you can’t wait. You can contact 1800 PICK UPS or 1800 GO FEDEX they can help you with shipping labels and customs documents. Just email them over to us and we can get them on your packages and ship them out for you.
We will continue to update our website with all changes to operating hours and information.

Due to the impending closure of the border for non-essential trips we will now be closed on Saturdays and reducing hours during the week until further notice.
We will continue to receive your shipments as usual. Don’t have any concerns about holding your packages longer than 60 days for now as we have lots of space in the warehouse. If it becomes a problem down the road then we will alert you via email with next steps.

Effectively immediately we have reduced our business hours due to the unfolding Covid-19 situation:
Mon, Wed & Fri: 9am-3pm
Tues & Thurs: 9am – Noon
We will continue to receive inbound packages as long as the couriers continue to operate. The border remains open but of course, all of this is subject to change. Please continue to check our website for changes and updates.

Freight Dock refers to any packages (inbound or outbound) requiring the forklift to load or unload. (i.e. pallets, oversized packages, etc.)

We will send you a confirmation with your unique Customer Number. (usually within 24 hours)
This will be your required, unique Shipping Identifier for all packages.
When your package arrives you will receive an email notification when your parcels are ready to be picked up.
How to use our services
How to use our services…
Once you are REGISTERED you will receive a unique customer number.
YOUR CUSTOMER NUMBER-Your Name with OUR ADDRESS (as shown on the right) as your shipping address.
**Your Customer Number MUST be included in your name and appear on your shipment.
**Do NOT put “Ship Happens” on anywhere – this will result in your parcel being lost or sent back!
It’s that simple.
When providing your shipping address to your retailers include your customer number in your first name.
We will receive your package and we will notify you via email when your package is ready to be picked up.
You come in, present your customer number and pick your package up.
Register beforehand – There is no need to call us – just go ahead and start shipping after you receive your customer number (usually within 24 hours).
Also, note that we only receive and hold your packages for up to 60 days. We do not forward packages
